Cecilia Romero Decorates Yummy.com With New Bodacious Mural

Alex KhatchadourianMay 28, 2014

Cecilia Romero  think it’s totally inspiring looking at a blank wall. The bigger the better in fact. So when she had the opportunity to paint a humungous wall in Silverlake at a local grocery store called Yummy.com, she made it her mission to splash her colorful and bubbly styled paintings across the immense public canvas.

In our feature with the LA-based artist she was only half way through finishing her mural and she mentioned, “When you’re given a bigger space, your brain just grows. I’m given a huge wall and all of a sudden there are just so many more possibilities to create, so much more space, and it’s just a really awesome sense of freedom—freedom of expressing myself on such a different level and scale.”

Take a look at some photos from her finished piece that can now be seen at Yummy.com at 3607 Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90026.
