Gruesome yet seductive women permeate Los Angeles-based artist Kristen Liu-Wong’s fluoro-colored paintings and illustrations. Kristen crafts voyeuristic storylines in each one of her pieces, where scantily clad women mingle with saccharine snakes, smoke cigarettes, and casually explore their sexuality through a range of twisted scenarios. We spend some time in the studio with Kristen, where she shows us some of her favorite pieces and fills us in on the allure of making lewd yet lustful images.
