Night two of Girlschool was the stuff of legend. Shirley Manson welcomed Fiona Apple to the stage to sing “You Don’t Own Me” in a hand-drawn “Kneel, Portnow” shirt, backed by the all-women-identified Girlschool Choir and ensemble. The night was so moving, and to feel the energy that happens when this community comes together to make literal magic is insane. Other highlights: Pinky Pinky, FAARROW, Amber Coffman, Nick + Navi, Akua, and a fantastic panel on how to turn social media activism into actual activism by Whitney Bell, Ashlee Marie Preston, Vera Papisova, and Ivan Ceja.

Peep photos from last night’s performances, shot by Silver DeStouet. See photos from night 1 here.
